We will hold Personal Independence Payment (PIP) consultations at locations in Scotland and the North and South of England, including London.
So, if you have been asked to attend a consultation with a health professional it may be in a physiotherapist’s clinic, GP surgery or NHS hospital building.
We chose this approach because we understand it’s important for you to be seen in places which are local, familiar and based in the community.
If during your PIP assessment you need a face-to-face consultation you will receive a letter with details of where and when your appointment will be.
The face-to-face consultations will be undertaken by trusted organisations, with experienced staff who are used to dealing with people with disabling conditions, differing needs and challenges.
Among those opening their doors are high street chains such as Physio First and NHS hospitals including York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, University College London Hospital, Croydon Health Services NHS Trust and Bedford Hospital NHS Trust.
A list of the assessment venues that may be used can be found here.
