The Personal Independence Payment timeline

Personal Independence Payment, or PIP, has now been introduced across the country for all new claimants. It replaces Disability Living Allowance for people aged 16 to 64-years-old.

If you already receive DLA, the Department for Work and Pensions will send you a letter inviting you to apply for PIP. This won’t happen until October 2013 at the earliest.
